Wanda Hubbard

Her journey began on October 11, 1970 in Weimar, Texas. Living in Hempstead, TX until 1985 when she and her parents moved to Hamilton. Here, she graduated from Hamilton High School, class of 1989. Her first job was at Levels grocery store, starting off as a cashier and moving up to a manager. After leaving Levels, she worked several other jobs, until she found her home at Hamilton Hospital, working as a medical record clerk.

Wanda married the love of her life, Rufus "Tiger" Hubbard, in January 1996, and gained a loving daughter, Shelby Kropp. After about 11 years together, the two brought home a beautiful baby girl, Annie Hubbard April 2004 , and then came a bundle of energy, Justyn Hubbard April 2006. These two were the light of her life, her pride and joy. There was nothing they could ask for that she didn't give them. Wanda was a very active mom with basketball, football, baseball, softball, cheer, camping trips, slumber parties, you name it she was there. Just when you thought her life couldn't get any fuller with joy and excitement, she welcomed home her grandson, Deakon Kropp February 2015. This little man loved his GiGi and she was so proud of him.

Wanda met Jesus, March 13,2017 after a brave 2 year battle with breast Cancer. Never once did she let this battle get in her way of showing us all how much she loved us, for this is who she was; a daughter (in-law), sister (in-law), wife, mother, grandmother (GiGi), an Aunt (Lulu), cousin, niece, and friend.

A life lived, but not long enough.

Memorial service will be held 2 PM, March 25, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton.
