Wanda Jean Bailey Andrews born June 10, 1945 joined her sweetheart in heaven on October 3, 2015. Wanda was the oldest child of R. L. and Mildred Bailey. Raised in Hamilton, TX Wanda was known to many for her determination, hard work, home cooking (especially her strawberry cake) and I can do anything attitude. She never left the house without her hair and make-up done and was known for her confidence. She loved her family unconditionally and her tough exterior often masked a very tender heart underneath. Wanda was the high school sweetheart and wife to Rev. Marvin Andrews who preceded her in death. Wanda was a beloved sister, granny, aunt and friend to many.
She is survived by son Dennis Biggs, daughter Carline McCullough and stepson James Andrews. Grandchildren
Brandon Andrews, Blake Andrews, Alex Andrews, Cameron Urteaga, Morgan McCullough, Chasiti Biggs and Logan Biggs and great-granddaughter Ava Andrews. Wanda was also survived by sisters Betty Dowell and Myrna McKie preceded in death by brother Larry (Beetle) Bailey.
Wanda was Aunt Jean to Donna Wallace, Delinda Stark, LeaAnn Love, Nancy Durall, James Bailey and David Bailey. Wanda was also great aunt to many other nieces and nephews. As a member of the Andrews family Wanda also was sister-in-law and aunt to numerous others who loved her and called her family and friend.
Memorial service for Wanda Andrews will be at the Barn Church, Hamilton, TX Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10 AM.
