Robert was born in Orange, California to Robert M. Osborn and Fern Barnes on August 10, 1962.
He graduated from John W. North HS in Riverside, California in 1980. After graduating he entered The United States Air Force, proudly serving his Country from 1980-1984.
He moved to Texas with his wife, and had two beautiful children. And later in life welcomed a brilliant grandson.
Robert enjoyed his home in Hamilton for over 20 years. To his family and friends he was one of the funniest men you would have ever met. He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone. He was always so selfless. He was a spiritual man and proud Father and Grandfather. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
His smile was contagious and would light up any room that he walked into. With his sweet character and great humor, you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth.
He had a passion for music and showed it by being a very talented musician and songwriter in his spare time. He also enjoyed movies, sunsets and being at the beach.
He is going to be truly missed by his family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Osborn.
He is survived by his daughter, Leah Osborn and husband Taylor Robbins of Temple, TX ; son Logan Osborn of Hamilton, TX ; grandson, Casey Ray of Temple, TX ; mother, Fern Barnes, brother, Will Osborn both of Austin, TX and ex-wife, Marne Osborn of Raton, NM.
A memorial service will be held at Riley Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2 PM.
Donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
