Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Drew Dabbs officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
Nelda was born October 16, 1937, the youngest daughter of Edgar Newsom and Vallie Jones Newsom. She married Billy Charles Donahoo on January 20, 1951. They had three children Teresa, Deborah Jean and Michael Shane Donahoo.
Nelda was a homemaker who loved her family deeply and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She also attend school and was a LVN. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Teresa Schoen and husband Reggie of Irving and son Michael Shane Donahoo of Hamilton; she is also survived by her grandson Jordan Lee Schoen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Billy and her beloved daughter Deborah Elliott.
