Mary Jane Kelly Gardner

Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel at Blue Ridge Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 27, 2017with Miles Miears officiating.

Mary was born on July 30, 1924 to A. Howard and Harriet Annie Williams Kelly in Hamilton County. She married Walter Lee (W.L.) Gardner on December 9, 1938. Mrs. Gardner was a homemaker and worked at Walls Clothing as a seamstress before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband on November 15, 2005, both her parents, brothers John Howard Kelly, Neal Bernard Kelly, Thomas “Tommy” Nathaniel Kelly, and Charles “Ikey” Kelly, one sister Annie Ruth Kelly and son in law Bruce Bomar.

She is survived by her four children: Caroll Gardner of Hamilton, Mary Faye Bomar of Gatesville, W.L. Gardner Jr. and wife Diann of Texas and Ray Gardner of Hamilton; six grandchildren Curt Bomar and Casey Bomar and wife Penny of Gatesville, Wesley Gardner and wife Diana of Glen Heights, Wade Gardner and wife Kim of Ennis, Waylon Gardner of Red Oak and Joy Gardner of Hamilton; nine great grandchilden Steven Bomar, Shelbi Bomar, Marissa Gardner, Hunter Gardner, Jay Toth, Malorie Chavoya, Trenton Wallis, Baylen Votaw and Keegan Votaw; She is also survived by three great great grandchildren, Jackson, Tessa and one sister Ethel Kirkland of Hamilton.
