Joyce Wilson

Joyce V. Wilson 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 30, 2020. Joyce was born on March 30, 1928 in Opelika, Alabama to Louis Walter Jones Sr. and Mary Louise (Phipps) Jones. She was an exceptional bookkeeper and apartment manager for 70 years, retiring at the age of 90. She loved her family, talking about childhood memories in Alabama and visiting with family and friends. Her biggest and most loved hobby was collecting and reading recipe books.

Her great grandson, Parker Greer, precedes her in death.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in- law; Mary and Blake Lasater, grandsons; Justin Lasater, Adam and wife Amber Lasater, granddaughter; Kristen Lasater and great grandchildren; Hunter and Bailey Lasater, Addison and Abagail Lasater, Channing and Camden Greer, along with numerous nieces and a nephew.

A private family service will be held at later date to Covid-19 restrictions.
