It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Paul Winn, whose date of death is October 27, 2024. Born on November 14, 1970, in Clifton, TX, Chris was the beloved son of Evelyn and Paul Winn Jr. He leaves behind a family who deeply cherished him, including his mother Evelyn Winn and his sister Paula Faust; his nephew Jamie Faust, Jamie's wife Lydia Faust, and their son Luka Faust; his aunt Joyce Venable; his cousins Larry Venable, Tom & Marion Locke, Keely Schumacher, and Kemberly Payton. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Winn.
Chris graduated from Hamilton High School in 1989, where he was an accomplished athlete in basketball, state-bound baseball, and cross country. His love for sports continued throughout his life, as he never missed a game and remained a dedicated fan of the Texas Longhorns. He later earned his bachelor's degree in Communications from Texas State University.
Chris had a profound love for the Austin environment but always stayed true to his small-town roots. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and immersing himself in the natural beauty that surrounded him.
Chris learned the car dealership industry from his father and grandfather, and it became a significant part of his life. He dedicated most of his career to the car dealership business, where he made a lasting impact on his community and the industry.
Chris will be remembered for his warm heart, his passion for sports, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
May he rest in peace.
