William "Bruce" Paterson

Predeceased by his wife Dora (2007) of 52 years. Loving father of David (Joyce), Keith (Vicky), Janis (Alfie), Carole (Syl) and Donald (Carol). Cherished grandfather of William Andrew, Hannah Kathryn, Joanne (Wesley), Sean (Melissa), Melissa (Stu), Ryan (Tara), Mallory (Ricky), Michelle (Chris), Joshua and Christopher. Great-grandfather of Eli, Izek, Molly, Angus, Edith, Colin, Sean-Douglas, William, Nathan, Daniel, Mason, Emma, Benjamin, Bobby, Vanessa "Damion", Brandon, Dylan, Caleb and Malaya. Predeceased by his brother Tom and his parents William and Kathryn Paterson. Bruce will be truly missed by his loving companion Sophie Derbyshire.

Bruce worked for over 40 years with General Electric/CAMCO and a former employee with Riley's Hobby Service. He was the last surviving founding member of the H.O. Model Engineers Society since 1948. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, love of trains and jazz and his faith in God through Stanley Avenue Baptist Church.

Resting at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton for visitation on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. He will be laid to rest with Dora at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
