Peacefully passed away on January 29th , 2011 at Heritage Green Nursing Home in his 92nd year. Predeceased by wife Gladys Viola McLachlan. Predeceased by daughter Sharon (Dave) Venturelli. Lovingly be missed by sons William, Larry (Mary) and daughters Jeanette Shaw and Lorraine (Peter) Wolf. Remembered by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Missed by nieces and nephews. William was a former employee of Westinghouse Canada for 42 years and a member of the Branch 58 Legion for 51 years. Special thanks to the Juravinksi Hospital and the DVA. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Monday, January 31st from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 1st at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
