It is with much sadness and many fond memories that we announce the passing of our wife and mother on Saturday, July 11, 2015. In her 90th year, Vera May Mills, CWAC, a World War II veteran passed peacefully with Dick, her husband of 69 years, at her side along with her many children and grandchildren at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Loving mother of Rick (Isabelle), Terry (Princess), Cyndy, Blake (Susan), Christopher (Linda), Scott (Margaret), and Cameron (Samantha). Predeceased by son Wayne and son-in-law Carey. Proud and dedicated grandmother of Kathy, Ben, Patti, Michael, Jesse, Marc, Rebecca, Emily, Stuart, and David. Mom made us what we are today. In keeping with Mom’s wishes and her spirit, her life was honoured during visitation and a private Celebration of Life.
