After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Val passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on June 4, 2014. Beloved wife and best friend of Bill for 50 years. Loving mother of Billy (Emily) and Vicky (Stephen). Nana Val loved and cherished her three grandchildren Aiden, Jonathan and Caitlin. Val was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and Scotland. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre for their excellent care during Val's treatment. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Friday, June 6th from 1 pm until time of service at 3 pm in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice is appreciated.
