It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Meikle Welsh on February 22, 2015, while in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Marie (MacFarlane) for 60 years and father to Ann Marie (John), Tracy (Chris), Mark (Susan) and (the late) Scott. Loved by his grandchildren Adam (Amy), Kayla (Trevor), Naomi and Jonathan, and great grandchildren Brynn Lee, Benjamin and Avery. Thomas was a WWII veteran, past Master of the Lodge of Strict Observance, a member of the Scottish Rite, a member of McNab Presbyterian Church and had retired from Dominion Glass. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 24 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton with a Memorial Service on Wednesday February 25 at 11:00 am, reception, and a private burial to follow. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
