Peacefully after a brief but courageous illness on July 22, 2017 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 58 years to Marie "Dolly". Loving father to Tom (Christine), Steve (Diana) and Kim Palmer (Brad). Cherished papa to Tom, Matthew, Daniel, Mike, Aimee and Ty. Dear brother to George and Rick (Lois). Tom was a proud 50 year member of IBEW, Local 105 and a devoted hockey and baseball coach over the years. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. in Hamilton on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 East 37th St. on Friday, July 28th at 1 p.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
