Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on May 14, 2022 in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of the late Anica (nee Markesic). Loving father of the late Mladen Steve Mesic and Davor Nick Mesic (Agata Benincasa). Cherished Deda of Devante, Celeste and Dominik. He will be sadly missed by Sharon Dorr and Dubravko Turcic, other family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Steve was a longtime dedicated parishioner of Holy Cross Church. Special thanks to the staff of Juravinski Hospital and his wonderful caregivers Ireen and Steria for their compassionate care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, on Wednesday May 18 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm with Prayers at 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
