Stephanie was born in Hamilton and graduated from Scott Park High School. She graduated from the McMaster Nursing Program and was an unsung hero to many of Hamilton's mentally ill. It was not uncommon for an ex-patient of hers to give her a hug on the street years after Stephanie had cared for them. She could find something positive about anyone she met - even if it was just "his beautiful eyes". She was a very loyal friend. Stephanie will be missed by her husband John Shea, her cherished sons Daniel, Jacob, Simon (Miranda) and the apple of her eye, her grandson, little Louie. Stephanie also leaves behind her brother and closest friend William Kalynowich. She will be lovingly remembered by many extended family and friends. Stephanie's heart was filled with love for life and laughter. The world will be greatly diminished without her.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Monday, May 23rd from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 50 Brucedale Avenue E. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 10am. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Burlington.
