Stanley Eric William Gillings

Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, ON on April 21, 2018 in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years Marjorie. Loving father of Christine Hayes. Cherished granddad of Kieron Hayes and his wife Michelle Vickers and Nicole Hayes; great granddad of Finnian, Abigail and Rowena. Dear brother to his sister Audrey Drennan and sister-in-law Audrey Mercado. Stanley will be missed by his many friends and extended family, especially his dear friend and dancing partner of 8 years Margaret. Stanley volunteered at The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum for 10 years after a long career as a machinist. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, May 12th (time and location to be determined). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Warplane Heritage would be appreciated.
