Peacefully at Leisure World in Richmond Hill on Monday, August 19, 2013 in her 88th year. Loving mother of Bruce (Nancy), Christine Stante (Enzo) and Mark (Catherine). Loved Grandma of Laura and Alex. Sister of Lucy (and the late Frank) McPhee. Dear Aunt of Sandra and Scott and Great Aunt of Zak and Lulu. Rose was a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society "Hamilton Chapter", loved her family, dancing, travel, and gardening and was a triple Trillium award winner. Friends may call at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street, on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
