Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on May 24, 2014 at the age of 71. Son of the late Doug and Mary Thomson. Dear brother of Rose VanEvery (Don), Donna Carr (Ray) and Gary Thomson (Terry). Loved uncle of Kelly, Cindy, Randy, Jennifer, Amanda, Chris, great uncle of Katie, Dylan, Justin and great-great uncle of Owen and Chloe. Ron was a retired Iron Worker and he enjoyed his friends at the Golden Horseshoe Fishing Club as well as the Donut Shop. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 12 noon in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
