Mr. Ronald George Jamieson

JAMIESON, Ronald George Suddenly on May 22, 2010 at the Henderson Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved husband to Mary (nee Naujokas) for 47 years. Loving and devoted father to Cindy Rees (John), John Jamieson (Kim), Ronnie Jamieson (Pina Serrani). Cherished papa to Kristen and Jamieson. Will be lovingly remembered by his brother Robert Jamieson and his nephews Edward Kuhn (Connie) and David Kuhn and niece Betty in Nova Scotia. Pre- deceased by his parents Melvin, Mary and brother Melvin, by his sisters-in- law, Betty Jamieson, Irene Kuhn and by his brother-in-law Edmund Kuhn. A retired and dedicated employee of the Stelco 20 Inch Mill and the Bar Mills with 40 years of service. Ronald will be lovingly remembered for his wonderful garden and his love for feeding his birds. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, May 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church (Edgemont and King St.) on Thursday, May 27th at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the C.N.I.B or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. A special thanks to the wonderful staff and nurses at the Henderson Hospital and especially to Nurse Greg who helped care for Ron.
