Robert Rankin

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bob on December 1, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Dearly missed by his wife Ellen of 61 years. Cherished father to Debbie Ducker (Len) and Rob (Debbie). Poppa to Matthew (Brigitte), Andrew (Julie), Graham (Krista), Robert Jay and Brittany. Great grandfather to Elodie, Arielle, Madyson and Jaxon. Predeceased by his sisters Chrissie and Sheila. Dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Bob was a longtime member and Elder of New Westminster Church. He enjoyed giving back to others and was involved in the delivery of apples, clothing and can goods to various schools and to St. Matthews House. He was also a retired employee of Stelco. Visitation will be held at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME 615 Main Street East (East of Sanford), Hamilton on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at New Westminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations to the VON Adult Day Program or New Westminster Mission Outreach would be appreciated.
