It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Marshall, at the age of 74, on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022.
Beloved husband of 50 years to Joanne (Cunningham.) Loving father to Chris (Teisha), Jennifer (John) and predeceased by his daughter Sarah. He will be missed enormously by his grandchildren Jordan (Kris), Jacob, Emma, Jesse and Carter. Robert is predeceased by his parents and brother. Robert was a retired Police Officer from the Hamilton Wentworth Regional Police. Robert took great pride in the years he had spent as a volunteer with the St. John’s Ambulance therapy dog program with his dog Hooper. Robert was an active member of the Cactus Capital Retiree Golf group. He was always counting down the days to golf with his treasured cousin John. We would very much like to thank our quarterback, Dr. Hotte, at the Juravinski Cancer Centre. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E, Hamilton, Ontario on Monday, November 14th from 7-9pm and Tuesday, November 15th from 12-1pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you donate to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP.)
