Raymond Dunmore

Loving husband of the late Eleanor. Loving father of Carolyn Dunmore and Christine Hellendy (Shawn). Proud grandfather of Daniel (Nicole), Zachary and Katie Hellendy (Charbel). Great-grandfather of Isabelle. Raymond will be sadly missed by his brother Frank Dunmore (Sandy), sisters-in-law Sarah Dunmore, Peggy Fisher (Stan) and Fran Cheyne. Also missed by Christine’s mother-in-law Shirley Hellendy and sister-in-law Brenda Hellendy. Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Raymond Dunmore, mother-in-law Lucy Cheyne, father-in-law Rupert Cheyne and brother David Dunmore. Ray will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ray was a medical technologist in microbiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 35 years.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, PSWs and staff at the St. Joseph’s Satellite Health Facility. Also, our gratitude to Bob Morrow for faithfully visiting Ray and even bringing in a nip of the good rum.

In accordance with Ray’s wishes, cremation and interment have taken place. A memorial tribute to Raymond will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church, 479 Upper Paradise Road, Hamilton. Please wear masks to the service. If desired, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

We will forever miss our wonderful dad and cherish the memories of our special times together.
