Survived by daughter Marg Murphy, daughter-in-law Liz of Kamloops, grandchildren Kristen, Michael and Christopher, 4 great-grandchildren Gabriel, Brielle, Lucas and Oscar, and sister Ruth Vanfleet. Predeceased by husband Irvin, son Brian, and also by brothers Wilfred Truesdale, James Simons and sister Muriel Newport. She will be sadly missed by many family and friends.
Phyllis was a world traveler; she never met a trip she didn’t like. She was a lifetime member of the Women’s Art Association and a member of the R.H.Y.C.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (East of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton on Saturday, July 7th from 1 pm. – 5 p.m. A Legacy of Life Service will take place in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 8th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. In her memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
