My guiding Angel, thank you for leading me to your family. I pinky promise to be my best for them, care for them, support them and Love them all until  the end of times….sleep well Dad until me meet on the clouds of heaven.

I was remembering a conversation Peter and I had several years ago upstairs at the office over coffee.  Pete had recently met up with an aquaintance who was soon to retire.  This man was worried about whether he was financially prepared and was fussing on about his investments, savings and so on.  Your dad had just recently stopped working because of his health and with everything that changed because of that, so did his own financial status.  He eventually just told this person "You'll have enough."  I nodded and pretended to understand but quietly thought "But how can you be so sure, Pete?"
In the last few days, while I reflecting on how Pete lived his life, what brought him joy, where his treasure layed, what made him happy, I realized what he meant.  With the love of your family, the respect  of some good friends, and the grace of God, "You'll have enough."
I speak from my heart when I say that on behalf of Steve, myself and the boys, we will deeply miss Pete with all our hearts.  All my love to all of you.....

Please accept our family's deepest condolences in the loss of your husband, dad and grandfather. We have only fond memories of a wonderful, caring and soft spoken man and are happy that we got to know him.

During my last conversation with Uncle Pete he smiled as we discussed raising kids. It was apparent that he absolutely enjoyed his children and loved them very much. Always remember the good times that you shared. Uncle Pete was a genuinely kind and caring person that we will all miss. xoxo

As a child, you always want one of your parents on the sidelines cheering you on. Mr. Lawrence was one of those parents. He would be there rain or shine. I recall a Track and Field event back when his children and I attended W.H Ballard School. My mother was expected to come cheer me on. Unfortunately she was unable to make it but I still had someone there cheering me on and that was Mr. Lawrence with camera in hand!! I know upcoming sporting events may not be the same for the Lawrence family, just know that your dad is there, he just has a better view.

Words will never describe how sorry I am for your loss. Peter welcomed me into your family with open arms and made me feel like I was one of his own children. He was a great man to know and I am honored to have been a part of his life even if it was for a brief moment. Thank you Peter for allowing me to be a part of your family. I will remember all the delicious dinners and wonderful stories you shared with me. I love you!!!
