Nancy Merle Mousseau

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Nancy passed away on Saturday September 28th, 2024 at Juravinski Hospital. After a short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 74, Nancy passed peacefully surrounded by her doting daughters.

Our mom was the heart of our family. She will be forever missed by her daughters Sheri, Jennifer and Tricia and by her beloved granddaughters Mya (Jacob) and Hannah. Nancy was predeceased by her father and mother, Merle and Vera Buffam. Nancy is also predeceased by her loving brother Ron and sister-in-law Irene. She will be greatly missed by her devoted brother Jim and sister-in-law Opal. In passing, Nancy will be reunited with her adoring partner Larry Jones. Nancy was a caring stepmother to Brandi and step grandmother to Cassie and Chase. Nancy will be fondly remembered by her two nieces Dar (Bob) and Kim (Gabe) and her great nieces and nephews Cody (Annie), Katie and Connor (Erica), Jordan, and Taylor (Will).

Nancy worked for over 45 years as a legal assistant and was proud of the work she did with Jim Brown. She built many strong relationships with colleagues and clients and will be missed by many.Family would like to thank ICU staff at Juravinski for the compassionate care of our mother in her final days. Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, October 2nd from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 3rd at 11am in the chapel. Cremation to follow. The family welcomes everyone to a reception at the funeral home following the service. Our mom’s favourite colour was purple.
