Our love was more beautiful than a sunset,to say I miss you is an understatement, living with half of myself is difficult yet I find myself moving through days and now years not knowing my purpose! This should have been us and life instead of me and alone !

It’s so hard speaking of you in the past tense when my heart remembers your love , my eyes remember your smile , my hands remember the feel of your skin and yet it’s been two years ! My heart is broken , my eyes let tears run from memories and my hand long to hold yours . My soul will never be whole because you took that piece with you ,the depth of your loss to me can never be measured ,I never imagined living without you ,I forget what it’s like to truly be happy .  Death changes everything except I love you today as much as I did the day you left , I will forever be thankful you chose me to share not just your life but your love and I’ll forever be greatful for our beautiful children ,who each are a beautiful reminder of you !

On a regular day like many before, you came home to me ,little did I know it was for the last time ,I want to turn back time so I can kiss your mouth ,my one and only so I can here you say “I love you like every ordinary day before , I want to feel the arms that held me with so much love I could feel it in every breath and I want to hear your heart beat in my ear as we laid together on a quiet morning like so many times through the years I want those eight minutes back when I was fighting to keep you alive and instead of talking to a 911 stranger I could talk to you and tell you I’m never going to be me without you , no one will ever understand this love that we shared our hearts were one and our souls entwined, to say I miss you is an understatement and like any ordinary day I think of you and all the beautiful memories we made grief is only grief until it consumes you loneliness is only a word until you feel it’s depth I live each day knowing I will be back in your arms for eternity but until then nothing I do from that day has been ordinary!i don’t know how I have made it a year without you in it !

Hey there Mike  ( Tubby )  as things happen a year ago my life changed forever . You were and always will be my cousin , my childhood friend and my brother . You Said  to me   countless times  Brothers until the end but actually the correct way to say it is Brothers Forever !!. The times we shared  being there for each other growing up  and the none stop camaraderie  of the many adventures we went on related to the activities around the Automotive shop and Delivering Home heating fuels to customers homes bring back so many times of craziness ,  great memories and Laughter. These things in life money Can not buy.  And also to  mention another blessing in my life, you were the one  responsible for introducing me to another lifetime friend and the love of my life now of some 40 years plus ,  Kelly. You are just like your Dad ( Uncle Louie ) your a devoted family man with a big heart and raised a great family . How I miss you stopping by the shop  to help and then to hear that the classic line you both always said  " I Gotta GO  " . 
what else can I say but ,  Thanks Brother . By  the way how did it end up that  we nick named each other Tubby ?? . Thats one thing I don't know . So thanks Tubby 

Will miss his greetings whenever we ran into each other,  such a very fun and  friendly guy to work with!!

The first time I met you Mike I knew we were going to be friends.
With the passion for cars and hockey we had a blast.
From our weekend get aways with the Zer car club like Sandusky, Ohio with Les running around the mall with his imaginative dog on a leash. To you on the corkscrew. To putting in a cam in your car in the Shoprite parking plaza. Going to Cayuga and you placing a medal. Cindy was SOOO proud of you.
Playing lots of hockey to being an usher in your wedding.
I may have missed a few years, but when I came back it was like I never left.
Because that is who you are.
I pure friend with a great heart.
I will miss you my friend.

My deepest condolences to the Mark family ,, I had the pleasure of meeting Mark at Food Basics , as a sales rep I would be in his store twice a week ,, we would always chat about , politics , world issues and of course the Ticats .. he was such a kind man . Heaven has gained an Angel ..

To Cindy, all the kids, grandchildren and family. My heart is broken for all of you. I express my sincere condolences. Although Mike was my cousin at the beginning and through out the years he became a life long friend and was like a brother to me. The times we spent together are countless and the memories are priceless. When we were on a mission together and things went wrong he always made a positive situation out of it and got the job done. As a result these times created a huge collection of "Hall Of Famers" in which we continuously laughed and joked about time and time again. He was the one who taught me how to drive a car. We rented Eastwood Park Arena several times and played hockey (he was a much better player then I was?!) Working at the service station/garage we worked on cars and trucks, went on service calls and multiple road trips. We always kept in touch through a visit or late night text and his presence will be greatly missed.

I was so very fortunate to play with Mike on both the Bruins(RNHL) and Robson teams. A wonderful teammate and an even better person. You will be missed my friend.

We have known each other for many years. Worked together and played hockey together. Won many championships with the Dofasco eagles, RNHL and Robson hockey teams.
Your life was too short but you made the most of the time you were here.



I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Mike.   He was my friend and co-worker at Food Basics.  He spoke of his family often. Mike and I often enjoyed our talks about cars (his mustang) and the cruises we had both been on and the ones he was planning.  I always enjoyed working with him and he made the day go faster.  He will be missed greatly by myself and all of my co-workers.   My deepest sympathies.

My deepest condolences to everyone in the family. Papa Mark will be missed but his memories will forever live on through his grand children. He was a great grandfather to all his grand babies, always there for the grand children’s births, special occasions and everything else in between. Truly a great family man and proud papa!
