Mervyn Ferdinand Pantin

After a brief illness Mervyn passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on December 9, 2024 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by the love his life, his wife, Dorothy. They complimented each other perfectly, side by side, for 62 years. Also predeceased by his sister's Lynne, Theresa and Jocelyn. Survived by his brother's Roderick (Marise) and family, Albert and Gerard. Fondly remembered by great nieces, nephews and John (Trish) Sutherland, Dawn Sutherland, godson Tyler (Alex) and Jordan (Michelle) and great-great niece Lily.

Mervyn spent his career working as a sales supervisor in the oil and gas industry. He will be deeply missed by his niece Trish who he and Dorothy lovingly called their daughter and had the honour of being their caregiver for several years. He was the kindest most gentle soul who never asked for anything and never wanted to put anyone out. Yet was always wanting and willing to do for others. Special thank you to the nurses and doctors on Ward 8 West and South for their care. Also to Bernard, Abigail, Christian and Dominique for their love and support over the years.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish, 280 Limeridge Rd. W., on Wednesday, December 18th at 11am.
