Mary Bartley

Peacefully on October 17, 2010 surrounded lovingly by her children, Mary passed away after a long, full life of 93 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Herbert “Dagwood” (1997). Cherished mommy to her children Marilyn Venema (Eddie), Pat Schaub (Dick), Bonnie Huber, Robert Bartley (Chris), Paul Bartley (Barb), Deb Mack (Brian), Terry Bartley (Annie) and Julie Smith (Ray). Loved grandma of fourteen grand children, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and a little bump. Predeceased by her brother David Pendzay. Survived by her sisters Elizabeth “Betty” Clark (late Bill), Anne “Penny” Borsellino (Joe) and sister in law Bernice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the delta) on Wednesday, October 20 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. A funeral service officiated by Reverend Henry Verrier will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 21 at 11 am and followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. She was a wonderful mother who lived for her 8 children and doted over her many grandchildren.
