LENART, Martina Peacefully with family by her side at St. Peter's Hospital on March 18, 2014, at the age of 80. Loving Mama of Marjan (Suryanti), Silvo (Adell), Yolanda Baldasaro (Mark), the late John, Brian (Kathy), and Diana Lenart. Much loved Stara of Deva, Margaret, Aran, Connor, Casey and Thomas. Survived by her relatives in Slovenia. Martina immigrated to Canada in 1962. She was a wonderful cook, avid gardener and she devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Peter's Hospital for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation to be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home , 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth Ave. S.), Hamilton, on Friday from 2 - 9 p.m. Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Roman Catholic Church, 125 Centennial Parkway North on Saturday at 10 a.m. Inurnment at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
