She fought bravely to the very end, never willing to give up until God finally rescued her from the pain and suffering she endured and offered her a peaceful place in Heaven to be reunited with her mom Mary, her dad Jack and all of the aunts, uncles, and cousins that have passed on before her. She worked as a nurse at Grace Villa Nursing Home in Hamilton, caring for others in their time of need. After 42 years, she finally fulfilled her lifelong dream of retiring to a home on the lake. She lived life to the fullest enjoying everything life had to offer. She had a beautiful, infectious smile, a caring heart and a loving, passionate soul. She was loved by everyone that had the good fortune of knowing her. She leaves behind her loving husband Steve, her two beautiful daughters, Natalie (Dennis) and Melanie, and five wonderful grandchildren, Aaron, Ben, Vaeda, Parker and Ella, as well as her loving siblings Jack (Hazel), Janet (Chris), Jim (Maureen), Eddie (Carmie) and Mary (John). Heaven has truly gained a GEM, but our loss will be compensated by the treasured memories of Margaret that will live on forever.
Visitation to be held at Cresmount Funeral Home on Friday January 12 from 6pm - 9pm.
