I have to believe that those we Love do not go away.  They walk beside us wherever we go, and live forever in the heart.  I would like to share a very early childhood memory:  It was the Stewart clan that introduced me to my favorite game.  It was tag without touching the ground.  I loved it.  The house was filled with laughter, screams and shrieks.  Poor Jackie, being the eldest, was put in charge of keeping the noise down, and that was impossible.

I will never forget the fond memories we shared over the years.  We met at our woolco job, ended up in the same college for nursing and same place of employment for 41 years and not to mention the good memories in-between.  You will never be forgotten my dear friend,  until we meet again ❤

I’ve been thinking of the correct words to convey my heartfelt grief for your loss but nothing feels just right….best I can do is tell you all how saddened I am about the loss of such a precious, sweet, funny soul.  We will miss seeing her infectious smile at those times she and Steve would visit us.  My family in Canada and England are sending much love to all of her children, family and my sweet yet courageous brother Steve.  Forever in our hearts and thoughts.

Margaret was the second oldest sibling of six. My sister Susan and I will miss the genuine connection that kept us coming back for more of her infectious laugh . Jan and I spent more mornings still talking in her driveway after spending the previous night, lisitng to music and singing with family and friends all night long . She will forever remain special to all of us who knew her. ❤️

I went to Vincent Massey Public School with Margaret from K to 6 and Barton Secondary from 70-74. My fondest memory of her was in grade 1,  I have remembered a moment with her all my life. Here it is - We sat next to each other with desks pushed together in square groups of 4 desks. During nap time we had to put our heads down next to each other and we giggled together once when I tickled her face with a cotton ball. This led to me being sent out to the hallway.  Marg and I would have learned our ABCs and printing and our first Arithmetic and Spelling together. I walked by her home on 36th st hundreds of times heading towards Barton and saw her heading out herself often.  She had the cutest freckles as a child too and quite tall. She was quiet, gentle and very nice as a young child at school. Very well behaved.  I have several class photos of her.  She was always one of the tallest and well dressed.   I was Steven Oliver Mihalich then living on East 34th. My condolences to all of Marg Stewart’s family.  Goodbye Margaret. I hope you will forgive me for tickling you back in grade 1.

Margaret and I went together on her 1st trip to Florida. It was so much fun to see her enjoyment. We had a blast! I cherish the photo album I have of those 2 glorious weeks. RIP my dear friend until we meet again xo.
