Dear Elaine and Roger, Linda and Kevin and all your families,  You are all in our thoughts and especially today.  Aunty Margaret was such a special lady with a fabulous sense of humour and occasion.  She always had a witty thing to say and was so kind.  Her sense of style was outstanding.  All my family send their love and are sad along with you at the passing of Aunty Margaret.

To Elaine, Linda, Roger, Kevin, Alex, Ian, Carl and Teresa and all the family,

We send you our love and deepest sympathy.  We wish we could be with you this week to honour and say goodbye to our wonderful Aunty Margaret.    I was lucky enough to visit her in the cold snowy January days back in 1985.  Of course I was received with the warmest of welcomes and it was a very memorable stay in Chestnut Avenue.  What made that trip very special too was the chance to meet Bobby.   I will always be grateful for that.  My sisters, Eileen and Teresa, have captured Aunty Margaret so well in their tributes.   We will always treasure the support she gave us when our parents, Sam and Kathleen, were ill.  We were indeed very blessed to have her as our  Aunty - such a strong, clever, funny, supportive and determined lady.  The Rea sisters, Margaret, Bunty and Kathleen, certainly are a class act.   Look what a legacy your Mum has left you Elaine and Linda!   It was obvious to us here how much she loved you all and how proud she was of you.  The miles that separate us have never impacted on the closeness we feel to you all.   Until we meet again, which I hope will be before too long, be sure we hold you all in our hearts and prayers.

To Elaine, Linda, Roger, Kevin, Alex, Ian, Carl, Teresa, Tristan and all the family,

We will be with you in spirit tomorrow.

We remember with gratitude Aunty Margaret coming over with Elaine to support our Mum (Kathleen) and the rest of the family when Dad (Sam) was ill and getting straight on the plane again 3 years later at the age of 83 to be with Mum when she was terminally ill.  In her usual forthright manner announcing she hadn't bothered with Travel Insurance as too expensive at her age.

Despite the geographical distance Aunty Margaret and her two sisters were so close that the cousins are an extended family and we are lucky enough to have lots of memories of you and her over the years. First time I remember meeting her was at the convent we were living in while Dad built our house (also remember Linda's reaction when she saw the place) when they came over to Granny and Poppa's Golden wedding around 1973.  Last time, when Jon and I in Canada last summer - recollect her summoning Roger to come and pull her up the stairs but laughing all the time about needing assistance, you could see she had a soft spot for both her sons-in-law. Great family gathering with 4 generations from Tristan to Margaret there.

Aunty Margaret was fun to talk to, with such dry wit and commentary - I don't think she had a prissy bone in her body and her chat made a car journey (we had a few together over the years) go very fast. she will be very sadly missed.

Remembering your much loved Mum, Granny and Mother-in-Law.

What a most wonderful person Auntie Margaret was!  Her warmth and open arms will always  remembered by Brian, Nicky, Russell and myself.  Being in her company was pure pleasure as she was an amazing, honest and humorous raconteur yet Margaret was always ready to listen to others.   Her dry sense of humour left us in stitches and her perseverance in times of adversity was a light that inspired us to try and follow.   

We are forever grateful for having Auntie Margaret in our lives and she will always be remembered in our thoughts and hearts wherever we are.

To Elaine, Linda, Roger, Kevin, Alex, Ian, Carl and Teresa and all the family,
Remembering your dear Mum, Granny and Mother-in-Law. She was a wonderful, brave and humorous woman. We will never forget her hospitality to us when we visited with two small children in 1998, her energy and her patience. One day she told us she was going to movies with her friend, Harriet, we imagined to see an Agatha Christie or a costume drama but she soon put us right-she was off to "Lethal Weapon 4" to enjoy some action!

When visiting England, and in her 80s she appeared at our house on our moving in day with Mum (Kathleen) and when I couldn't find her in the chaos I followed the sound of hammering to find her upstairs assembling Molly's bed-she was unstoppable. We have a lovely memory of her sharing our first meal here, fish and chips in paper and champagne.
We are thinking of you all and sending our love and deepest condolences.

Elaine, Roger and family.  We are so sorry for your loss of your dear mother and friend.  I will always remember how hard she worked to support you and your your brother and sister after your father passed away.  She was such an inspiration and will live in your hearts forever.

We will miss Margaret.  A loving and supportive God Mother to Michele and dear relative to me and our children.  Rest in Peace and share a cup a tea and conversation with my mother Rose again.
