Mrs. Mara Zupanic

Peacefully with her family by her

side, at the Juravinski Hospital, on

Friday, March 29, 2013, at the age of

93. Mara is now reunited with her

beloved husband Josip. Loving

mother of Ivan (Katica) Zupanic.

Cherished "Baba" of Ivica Zupanic,

Mary (Jerry) Cagalj, and Josip (Anita)

Zupanic. Beloved great-grandmother

of Julia and Ethan Cagalj. She will

be sadly missed by her sister Barbara

Jurcic and extended family and

friends both in Canada and Croatia.

Predeceased by her sister Ana Krlin

and by her brothers Styephan

Zupanic and Ferdo Zupanic. The

family would like to thank Dr.

Christine Zrinscak and all of the

Doctors, Nurses and staff at the

Juravinski Hospital for their

wonderful kindness, compassion and

care. Family and friends are welcome

Tuesday, April 2nd, from 6-9 p.m.,

and Wednesday, April 3rd from

2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers

will be held on Wednesday at

7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be

celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian

Church on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at

9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at

Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations
