It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred with family by his side on June 22, 2023.
Beloved husband of 58 years to Franka. Loving father to Karrell (Miller) and Michelle. Proud Opa to Sophie and Olivia. Dear brother-in-law to Antone and Maria Jelic and uncle to Stephen and Branko. He will be dearly missed by all his extended family and close friends.
Fred was a devoted High School Physics teacher with the Hamilton/Wentworth District School Board, where he was the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award prior to his retirement in 2003.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will take place by his family.
