NEWTON, Lynda Alice (nee Reynolds), RN Peacefully, with family by her side on Friday, January 18th in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of 41 years to David. Loving mother to Deanna Nicol (Norm) and Don Newton. Proud Grandma to Julianna, Michelle, Sarah and Kyle. Will be lovingly remembered by brother Bob (Sharon) Reynolds & sister Deborah Alden. Predeceased by her parents, John Percival and Alice Reynolds. Lynda will also be missed by many other family members, friends and colleagues. Lynda was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing (1971). She was a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (Charlton Campus) for over 40 years. Lynda was a leader for the 64th Hamilton Sparks and Girl Guides for over 20 years. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Burlington. In memory of Lynda, the family would welcome donations to Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre or The Canadian Cancer Society.
