Linda Lee Stewart

After a courageous battle of a brief illness, Linda passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 with her loving husband of 21 years and best friend, Jim Stewart by her side. Linda was a caring, committed and proud mother to Jacob and Taylor, cherished daughter to John (predeceased) and Bertha Vukmanich and daughter-in-law to Olive Stewart. She will be missed by her extended family, many friends and colleagues as well as by her brother Brian (Maureen). Linda was a 34-year employee with Hamilton Health Sciences where she worked in Human Resources and displayed an unprecedented dedication and commitment to her work and her colleagues. Linda’s family would like to extend a tremendous thank you to their friends and family for their love and support through this difficult time. Family and friends of Linda are welcomed at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street, East, Hamilton ON for visitation on Thursday, March 12th 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and again for visitation Friday, March 13th 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Moose Lodge, 1860 Barton Street East following the service at 2:00 pm.
