Linda Mae Sheehan

SHEEHAN, Linda Mae (nee Hoadley) With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of Linda, after a courageous journey, on May 14, 2011, in her 66th year. Beloved wife and soulmate of John for 44 years, adoring and loving mother to Ted, mother-in-law to Diane, and grandmother to Mandy. Also sadly missed by her brother Perry (Susan, nieces Jennifer and Theresa), mother-in-law Audrey Gower (Wilfred-deceased), sister-in-law Linda (Larry) and Jim (Dorothy). Linda was predeceased by her parents Percy and May and sister Liz. Linda was a longtime employee of Participation House in Binbrook. Linda was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed by many, including wonderful friends and neighbours. Thanks to the nurses and staff at Hamilton General ICU South for their compassion and caring. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery after the service. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held after the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to March of Dimes or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
