Words cannot express how saddened we are to hear of Mrs Madigan passing….her contagious smile and laughter will remain in our memories forever.

The lessons learnt by our children will last forever, as will the treasured memories of her words of wisdom and encouragement.

So sad to hear of Linda's passing. It was an absolute pleasure working with Linda at St Bs, especially the time we spent together in year 5/6. Linda was a beautiful person who knew how to have fun with her students, when to knuckle down and get the job done and most importantly how to teach everyone just to be a good person. She was the life of the party and would always make you feel welcome and loved. I will forever cherish the times we shared in the classroom, on camps, on excursions, at sporting events and relaxing and enjoying a few drinks with good friends! We will all miss her dearly! Rest in peace.

I had the honour of job sharing with Linda at St Bs for a number of years. “Mad Dog Madigan” certainly kept us entertained with her stories, quirks and famous sayings. (“Honestly!”) As well as bringing her teaching expertise & knowledge to our learning environment, she also bought an abundance of love, fun and joy. She was loved (and at times feared 😂) by her students and they’d all look forward to the famous Mrs Madigan hug they’d receive on their birthday. Mark, Brooke and I would often reminisce of the fond memories we made with Linda over the years. We loved Linda greatly and are devastated by her sudden parting, losing a member of our “Dream Team”.   RIP Linda ❤️ 😇 

I had the privilege of working with the wonderful Linda Madigan at St Bernadette's Primary School. Although I only taught with Linda for a short time, she made a big impression on me and I will never forget our time together. She was always so generous with her time and loved sharing stories. Linda had a cheeky and sharp sense of humour and she would often put a smile on my face, even after a tough day. She was loved by those around her and will be missed dearly.

Whenever I think of Linda I always hear her laugh.   While working with Linda at St Bernadette's for 12 years, we shared many laughs together.  She was an incredibly hard worker who exuded an energy that was contagious.  Linda had a story for everything and her enthusiastic retelling of the story often had you in stitches.  I recall being in class and Linda popping her head in to get me to interpret her Canadian version of a word to her puzzled class. We would all end up in fits of laughter as she would insist that was how she was saying the word already. 
She was loud, until she wasn't! Linda would often lose her voice, but fortunately it would return the next day.  Linda loved the kids she taught and they loved her back.  Her spirit shone brightly and she touched the hearts and minds of many along her journey.   
We are so very heartbroken you have gone but glad to have known such a joyous soul. Rest in peace you lovely lady. Much love to Owen and family.  xxx

She will be remembered as a wonderful person and amazing teacher who welcomed our whole family into the St Bernadette's community. We will miss her and her kind heart. 

Deepest sympathies to Owen and the family on the passing of their beloved Linda.  Linda was a wonderful friend and colleague at St Bernadette's. She was such an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who was adored and respected by the children. As a colleague, she was so much fun and so hard working - she brought so much to our school. 

My heart is broken. Our times together teaching, at camps, conferences, lunches etc are the fondest of memories. We shared many stories, much laughter and many bottles of wine! Our wonderful Linda was a long standing, loved and valued member of the St Bernadette's school community. We will all miss her laughter, wicked sense of humour and general kindness to all. We are shocked and heartbroken to have lost her way too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Owen, Emma, Liam Olivia and all of her extended family.
