Lillian Mills

In her 100th year, Lillian peacefully passed away on May 28, 2015, at Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton. Born in Brierly Hill England to Thomas and Hannah Swaithes, they immigrated to Canada in 1922. Lillian has left this life and now is joining her husband John H. Mills and their son Leonard and daughters-in-laws Joyce and Betsy, and her sister Mary Swan. Survived by her sons John (Marilyn), Harry (Diane), Warren and her daughters Beverly (Bill), Barbara (John) and Joan (Tom). Remembered also by her 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Lillian and John, in their retirement, enjoyed travelling the world, their cottage at Lake Erie and wintering in Florida. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Idlewyld Manor for the care and comfort shown during her stay. Visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, Monday June 1st from 2-5 p.m. Service of remembrance 6-7 p.m.
