My deepest sympathy to each of you on your loss. Reverend Wilson had an incredible impact on my family.  I am going back to the Kirkland Lake years and I do want to share with you that my mom held him dear to her heart and with the highest regard all through the years even after we left Kirkland.  I can tell you that from the perspective of a child, Reverend Wilson left a lasting impression on me, not the least of which came from a charming rendition of "What's Your Name Little Boy".
I must tell John how proud my mom was that his parents allowed her to be his very first babysitter.

We were very sorry to hear of Ken's death.  Reverend Wilson married my husband Michael and I in 1982, and baptized each of our three children.  Our thoughts are with your family at this time.

 Ken Wilson was my mentor, friend, pastor and married Nancy and I in Kirkland Lake in 1971, I watched his family grow and mature. We have enjoyed great meals, sleep overs companionship and love of our Lord since Ken lead me to the intimate kinship of our Lord and Savior Jesus on October 27, 1968. 
 The day before I had met Ken on the street in Kirkland Lake and mentioned he had not dropped in for coffee in the last few weeks (my apartment was just across the road from the church) Ken used to cook and hosted a once a week (free) lunch for students of Northern College where I attended. The lunch was free but proselytizing by Ken was mandatory and I was often the focus of attention for balancing spoons or building pyramids while the word was being given.(just background) Ken brought to my attention that day all the interruptions, comments and disturbances that I had caused and he would no longer be coming over for visits as he had given up on me. I leaned over and whispered in his ear, "You can't give up on me, your Boss won't let you." and I walked on down the street. The next night he was at my door to lead me to Christ. I love Ken and I will miss him, but I know where he's gone and we will meet again.
