Surrounded by the love of his family Ken peacefully passed away on May 8, 2015 in his 87th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Thelma of 65 years as well as his daughter Libby Girard. Father and best friend of Bryan (Carole), loving father of Pat (Peter), Sylvia (Steve) and father in law of Bruce. Ken was one of 13 children and will be missed by his surviving brothers Fred, Ed and Hugh. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours. The family would like to thank Dr. Duncan and the medical and nursing teams of CTU Central at St. Joseph's Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care. Ken's family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Ken's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. Inurnment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton / Burlington SPCA would be appreciated. He will remain forever in our hearts
