On September 25, 2014. Best friend and husband of Julie (née McKenzie) for 54 years. Proud father of Kenneth John “Joe” Lamont, Kellie Jeanne (Dr. Greg Innes), Kristin Janine (Brad Kay), and father-in-law of Susan. Brother of Steve (Marg). Chief will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by grandchildren Jordan, Kira, Kylee and Jakob Innes and McKenzie and Noah Kay. Born in Stratford, Ontario, where he received his primary and secondary education before obtaining his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario and post-fellowship training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He was Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Hamilton Civic Hospitals from 1980-1991. Cremation has taken place.
