Judith Faye Britton (born Angela Jean Hare, August 14, 1959) passed in good humour at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, on October 9th, 2024. She is survived by her brother Paul, sister-in-law Deirdre, nephews Warren and Russell, close friends, and many relatives. Among her many roles, she was a painter, caregiver, mentor, and above all—an artist. Jude had an unparalleled wit and sense of humour, which everyone experienced but not everyone understood. She also possessed extraordinary warmth, which not everyone experienced, but those who did never forgot. She was utterly practical, artfully leveraging her intelligence, wisdom, and integrity to creatively find solutions when obstacles arose. Her fortitude and dutifulness were unwavering. She kept her promises, and now she sleeps.
Honouring Judy’s wishes, a private cremation has already taken place.
