It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josip at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, April 1, 2013 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara and the late Josipa. Loving father of Mate (Biserka), Marica Music (Slavo) and Ljubica Klepin (Vlado). Cherished deda of five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Drago (Nada), brother-in-law of Barbara and Danica. Predeceased by his brothers Janko (Franca), Slavko and Stjepan. Josip will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, other family and friends in Croatia, USA and Canada. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7:45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 9:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations can be made to Holy Cross Church or a charity of choice.
