It is with broken hearts that the family of Joseph John Tingle say farewell to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, who passed after a short illness at The Juravinski Hospital on April 9, 2025. Joe is three days predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years Fran (April 6, 2025). Left to mourn and cherish Joe’s memory are his children Joey (Marianne Hannon), Maureen (Shawn McPhail) and Kathryn. Joe will be sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren Ryan (Veronika), Jessica, Kristen (Jason), Kyle, Athena, Dara (Brad). His great grandchildren, Piper, Finnick and Roman. As well as his nieces, Carol Fursey (the late Ted), Lorraine Kreuger (Bob), Louise Mulligan and their families. Joe is predeceased by his infant grandson Jacob (1997), his sister Alice Adams (2023), and his brothers Ted Mulvale (2018), Jim Mulvale (2006) and John Mulvale (1993). There will be a joyous reunion in Heaven. Joe had a quick wit, bright smile and a kind heart. He was a man of honour, his family was his pride and joy. Family gatherings and celebrations big and small were always treasured.
Joe was a founding member of Annunciation of our Lord Parish where he served as Eucharistic Minister, Alter Server and collection counter. He was also an Honourary life-long member of the Knights of Columbus. He was retired from Shell Canada (1982) and Petro Canada (1989).
