Joseph Joe Blair Gouchie

Age 87, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2013 at Hamilton General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved father to Ralph Gouchie (Patricia), Raymond Gouchie (Marlene), Marilyn Gouchie, all of Hamilton, John Hartnett (Rose) and Robert Hartnett of Nova Scotia. Proud Grandfather of Tracy Walsh (Adam), Paul Gouchie, Darryl Gouchie (Shelly), Sarah Gouchie, Sean Gouchie, Joseph Hartnett (Sarah), Amanda Hartnett and Jack Hartnett. Great- grandfather to Eleanor, Abigayle, Rylan, Austin and Erika. Joe will be dearly missed by his sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Anne (nee Barry), first wife Eleanor, and second wife Elizabeth, as well as his siblings. A memorial service will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (at the Delta opposite Gage Park) 905-549-2417 on Friday, May 10, 2013 with visitation beginning at 11 am. Service will commence at 12p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery (Barton and Nash). Thanks to the caring nurses and doctors at Hamilton General Hospital ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
