John Franz Loeffler

Sadly we announce John's passing on January 8, 2017 in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Margaret and step daughter Renate Boeven. Dear husband of Hedwig. Father of Maggie (Joe), Doe (Dave), John Jr. (Vicki), Judy (Dan) and step father of Heinz (Brenda), Heiderose (George), Norm (Joy) and Petra (John). Dearly missed by his brother, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. John was a member of the Austrian Club and a part of their Schuplader Dance Group. He loved travel and enjoyed going to his friends stables and horseback riding. He loved classical music, reading and sharing world current events with others. He was a "to the point" personality but would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. He will be missed. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, January 14, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
