John joined the Liuna Local 837 union in 1972 and worked as a pipe layer for several contractors. Dufferin Construction being his last employer at the age of 65. John had 25 good years of retirement. John was able to macgyver almost anything? He was very creative. John was married to his predeceased wife Isabel Gallant for 44 years. John took on the task of fathering four beautiful girls when he met Isabel which is in itself an indication of his loving personality. John and Isabel went on to have three more children. John will be missed by all of his family and friends. John was cherished by Pattie and Roy Gunell, Barbara Meyer, Shirley and the late Ron Ricker, Sandy and Mike McCarron, Mike and Tracy Gallant, Charlene Godfrey, Paul Gallant and Teana Wighton.
