It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandma and great-grandma at the age of 88. She is reunited with her husband Ronald (2016). Loving mother of Deborah (Dennis), Ray (Theresa), Greg (Maureen) and Veronica. She will live forever in the hearts of her sister Barb Dawson, brother Joe Morton (Marie) and sister-in-law Sharon Somerville along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Juravinski Hospital C4 Ward for the loving care provided. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Joan's life will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday November 12 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
