Joan Pendlebury

Peacefully at St Peters Palliative Care Unit on June 7, 2015 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Ernie, and brothers Bob and Noel. Loving mother of Doug (Sue) and Bob (Deb). Cherished grandmother of Dell (Rob), Jim (Amy), James and Christopher. Great grandmother of Kirsten, Bradley, Quinn and Wesley. Joan is survived by her brother in law, Reg. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Hamilton General Hospital of 8 South, the C.C.A.C. and the caring nursing staff at St. Peters Palliative Care Unit.

Memorial visitation will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) in Hamilton on Thursday from 7-9 pm where the Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday June 12, 2015 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Peters Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
