St. Peter called for his soprano…

Peacefully at home on September 29, 2010 in her 86th year. Will be lovingly remembered by her children Alice Baca, Jennie Lowen, Barb Kubiak-Horrocks (Howie) and Henry (Bette). She now joins her husband Henry and daughter Lydia in the Lord’s embrace. Dear Babci of Tania (Anthony), Andre, Sonja, Adam, Noel (Caroline), Yola, Aleesha (Mike) and Justin. Will also be missed by Ushi, Ruby and Kitcha. Special thanks to Sharon (her “exercise partner”), Fillipa, Joanne and her angel Monica for their compassionate care. Since coming to Canada in 1949, Heddy had been actively involved in the St. Stanislaus Kostki Mutual Benefit Society, sat on the board of directors for Polonia Club, was a Multicultural Club volunteer, a member of the Polish Alliance Ladies Circle (Br #2) as well as the Ladies of the Rosary Society and Canadian Polish Congress. Her love of children was matched only by her passion for music and singing as shown by her involvement in the St. Stanislaus Polish Choir and Symfonia. Visitation will be at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (1309 King Street East, across from Gage Park at the delta) on Sunday October 3 from 1 – 5 pm with Rosary at 3 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 4 at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church at 10:30 am, followed by cremation.
